Behaviour & triggers

Control when and how the chat opens.

Open automatically

AttributeDefaultMeaning
data-openfalseStart with the panel already open.
data-auto-open0Open by itself after N seconds (0 = never).
data-open-scroll0Open once the visitor has scrolled N % of the page (0 = never).
data-exit-intentfalseOpen when the pointer leaves toward the tab bar.

Open from your own control

Hide the launcher and open the chat from a button, link, or menu item on your page — either with a CSS selector, or with the JavaScript API.

html
<button id="ask-ai">Ask our AI</button>

<script src="https://digitorn.ai/embed.js"
data-key="dk_…"
data-launcher="none"
data-trigger="#ask-ai"></script>

data-trigger takes any CSS selector; clicking a matching element opens the chat.

Remember the conversation

data-remember="true" (default) keeps the visitor's conversation across page reloads, scoped to your site — two sites embedding the same agent never see each other's conversation, and neither can reach a visitor's own Digitorn history. Set data-remember="false" to always start fresh.

Mobile

A docked chat takes the whole screen on a phone. For a corner card, data-mobile="sheet" (default) keeps the card until the screen is very narrow; data-mobile="fullscreen" takes the whole screen sooner.

Loading

data-loader sets what fills the panel while the chat boots: mark (default), spinner, dots, logo (with data-loader-logo="<image url>"), or none.
